A New Era of Affordable Private Health Care

Middle East Hospital will start seeing patients before the end of June, according to Middle East Hospital Chief Executive Officer Dr. Bahaa Fateha
Middle East Hospital, newly built in Segaya Avenue, Bahrain will offer different medical services on the lower floors, according to hospital officials. Those services include: general surgery, general internal medicine, obstetrics/gynecology and neurology.
Services to be offered in the coming months include: radiation oncology, dermatology, neurosurgery and cardiothoracic surgery, according to the hospital.
The CEO Dr. Bahaa Fateha mentioned Hospital is equipped fire detection and prevention, medical gasses, air exchanges, temperature controls, utilities, information technology and infant safety and security, which includes abduction prevention.
Patient care will begin on the 1st & 2nd floors, which include 80 patient beds, and hospital operations will start with elective cases before slowly moving toward complete functionality.
The hospital has currently filled 174 staff including 31 Physician, including 6 consultants and 1 specialist and 24 Sr. and Jr residents.
